The food was one thing, but the service put me off. I asked a simple question and the staff acted like I was bothering them. There wasn’t any warmth, no apology for the wait, and no one followed up afterward to check if everything was okay. Maybe they were just busy, but it made the whole experience feel awkward. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back.

The food was actually good, but the service was slower than I expected. The staff was nice enough, so I don’t want to be too harsh, but I did feel like I lost more time waiting than I should have. If you’re in a hurry, you might want to think twice.

I only dealt with the staff for a short bit, so maybe I didn’t get the full picture, but they were polite enough. It just felt like they were kind of rushing through things and not super professional in the moment.

I booked online and at first I was relieved because I thought everything was sorted. But then I still had to wait around for a confirmation, which got frustrating. I was excited to have it done, then suddenly annoyed because I wasn’t sure if the reservation actually went through.

I’ve ordered a couple times and the food showed up late twice, which was a little frustrating. It was still warm enough to eat, so not a total miss. From the way the updates came through, I got the vibe they were just backed up or short on drivers, but it’d be nice if the timing was more consistent...

I was really looking forward to this takeout order, but it ended up being a letdown. By the time the food arrived, it was cold, and part of my order was wrong. I tried to get some help with it, but it felt like nobody really cared. Not the best experience for me

I was expecting more from a place called The Clay Oven, so it was kind of disappointing. The food wasn’t awful or anything, but the flavors just didn’t hit the way I hoped. The spices felt flat to me, and a couple dishes were way more bland than I was prepared for. Maybe I just got unlucky with what I ordered, but it felt like I didn’t really get the authentic experience I came in for

I ordered from The Clay Oven and, i have to admit the value was good. The food tasted nice and the portions were decent, so I didn’t feel like I’d overpaid. It’s not exactly the cheapest option out there, and the delivery did take a bit longer than I expected, which was a little annoying. Still, overall I’d say it was worth the money. 4 stars feels fair.

I was hoping for more choices, but the menu felt limited and there wasn’t much that really sounded good to me. I also expected the options or ordering instructions to be a bit clearer, since I wasn’t totally sure what to pick

I was hoping for a bit more variety with the vegetarian choices, but they felt basic to me 😕

I ordered from Clay Oven expecting something a lot better based on how the menu made everything sound, but it was disappointing. The curry was watery, the naan was chewy, and the food just didn’t taste fresh. A lot of the wording made it seem like it would be rich and flavorful, but everything ended up being kind of bland. For the price, I really expected more

We booked The Clay Oven for a family party the food was literally so good. The curries had proper flavour, the naan was still soft when it arrived, and the portions were more than enough for everyone.

The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the delivery was about 20 minutes late and one tray leaked a bit. But the guests were happy, the food went down really well, and I’d definitely order from them again

I was disappointed with how unclean it felt inside. As someone who really notices those little hygiene things, I found it hard to relax when the table was sticky, there were bits of food on the floor near our seats, and the menus looked like they’d been handled a lot without being wiped down.
I get that places can get busy and maybe we caught them on an off day, but it made me want to leave sooner than I normally would. I’m not someone who expects perfection, but I do want to feel comfortable where I’m eating, and I don’t think I’d be rushing back.

It had, like, a nice enough atmosphere overall. Kind of cozy in some spots, but also, I don’t know, a little dull at the same time. It wasn’t bad or anything, just not really the kind of place that stuck with me afterward

I thought the spice level was decent, but not quite as hot as I expected. If you like things on the milder side, it’s probably just right, but I was hoping for a little more kick...

The food was okay and tasted good enough, but the portion size felt a bit small for what I paid. I was hoping for a little more, especially with the main dish :/ Overall, not bad, just didn’t leave me feeling very full. I’d maybe order again if the portions were a bit more generous!
